~ Vintage Cased Stanley Brass Prismatic Compass ~
The compass is constructed of brass with a floating compass dial marked Stanley, London. It has a prism fitted and also a small tripod stand.
The case is of a hardwood with brass inlay. It is fitted with a catch and red velvet.
~ Condition ~
All in good working order though the cover over the lid is missing.
~ Dimensions ~
The case is 12 cm (4.75 inches) wide by 10 cm (4 inches) deep and 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) tall.
The compass is 10 cm (4 inches) in length with a body diameter of 7 cm (2.75 inches).
