~ Victorian 50th Numbered Queens Own Regiment Home Service Helmet ~
It is one of the rare regimental numbered ones which were only issued for a short time.
~ Condition ~
There are four areas of moth hole damage to the fabric. The 'Egypt' sphinx is probably a replacement. Otherwise the helmet is in generally good order.
~ Dimensions ~
The helmet is 28 cm (11 inches) tall, 18 cm (7 inches) wide and 26 cm (10.25 inches) deep.
