~ 1837-1844 KPM Berlin Porcelain Cup Of The Zeughaus Prussian Armoury ~
A rare Biedermeier interior cup "Zeughaus in Berlin" with a low depressed bowl shape, convex below. It has a raised handle on the side with foliate motifs. The inner base has a gold-contoured medallion with a view of the Unter den Linden arsenal at the Forum Fridericianum, built between 1695 and 1706, in polychrome painting with rich gilding. The underside bears the Sceptre, KPM and painter's mark.
