~ 1897 Pattern Edward VII Royal Rifles Officers Sword And Scabbard ~

This sword is serial numbered 1515. The retailer name is marked on the blade as CHAs REEVES &Co MAKERS FOR JUNr A.Z.N.S (Charles Reeves)

The blade is foliage decorated and bears the Kings’ Crown and cipher and the Royal Rifles badge on it.

The sword comes with its brown leather scabbard and tassel.

~ Condition ~

A very nice example with an almost immaculate blade, the sword fittings have not been spared by time and some minor loss of chrome can be seen on the basket and on the grip.
