18th Century Flared Bronze Mortar

~ 18th Century Bronze Mortar ~

This is a bronze made mortar with a plain cylindrical flared body. There are 3 double bands of concentric lines inside (the top one quite worn) with further concentric bands to the underside.

The pestle is not present.

~ Dimensions ~

The mortar is 4.5 inches (11.5cm) high with the lip diameter of 5.5 inches (14cm) and the base diameter of 3.9 inches (9.75cm).

It weight is 1.52 kg.

~ Condition ~

The mortar is in great antique condition with a good golden patina.
