The print was published on the 12th of September, 1901 and depicts the jockey Fred Rickaby.
‘He is under five-and-thirty, he was born at Hungerford, and began to be recognised as good jockey some sixteen or seventeen years ago. Since then he has improved himself into a fine horseman, who though he rides fewer races than many other jockeys, always gets a good average’.
The print is presented in a single mounted, wooden glazed frame.
