‘Hamburg America Line Schnelldamper Auguste Victoria’

The underside reads ‘Souvenir Of SS August Victoria’s Cruise To The Orient 1903’.

It is decorated in repousse with garlands of flowers.

The interior has a gilt finish.

The interior rim of the lid bears hallmarks and the makers name of ‘Wilkens’.
