~ 1908 Large Silver Pedestal Bowl On Stand ~
A lovely quality pedestal footed bowl dating to 1908.
The bowl is of circular form with a pedestal foot.
It has spiraling fluted decoration in relief to the lower half of the bowl, with a wide plain band above.
The bowl is hallmarked for silver, London, 1908 and has a makers mark of ‘CB&S’ for Charles Boyton & Son Ltd.
The bowl sits upon a black painted wood pedestal base.
~ Dimensions ~
The bowl has a diameter of 22.5cm (8 ¾ inches) and a height of 16.5cm (6 ½ inches).
Upon its base the height of the piece is 24cm (9 ½ inches).
The bowl weighs 755g on its own and 1.64Kg with stand.
~ Condition ~
The bowl is in a very nice condition with no damage and only a little light wear from use.
The base is in good order with just a few minor chips to the paint.
