~ 1930’s Chromed Elephant Car Mascot Mounted On A Bakelite Plinth ~
A charming piece originally fitted to the bonnet of a car. It stands on an oval Bakelite plaque.
~ Dimensions ~
The elephant is 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) long by 3 cm (1.25 inches) wide by 3.25 cm (8 inches) tall. The plinth adds an extra 1 cm (0.4 inches) to the height. It weighs 0.39 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in excellent order. One tusk is blunter than the other one. This appears to be how it was cast rather than loss.
