~ 1939 Propeller Hub Clock ~
A nice clock made with a repurposed wooden propeller hub.
The piece consists of a small cockpit clock mounted into the hub of an old wooden propeller.
The piece has been varnished and has screws to the base of the cockpit for stability.
The piece has 2 plaques on each side one of which reads `SEP 1939 A3401 61634` and the other is marked `DRO N0 Z 393 ¼ CHEETAH X LH D.7.33 P 6 96`.
The clock is named `Gliford 8days` and is `Swiss Made with eight wooden pins around the clock face.
~ Dimensions ~
The piece measures 14 ¼ inches (36cm) across, 9 inches (23cm) deep and has a height of 6 ¼ inches (16cm).
It weighs 4.73Kg.
~ Condition ~
Both the propeller and clock are in a nice condition with only general usage wear but no damage apart from one tear mark to the clock edge.
