~ 1943 6 Pounder Chromed Shell Case Trench Art Ashtray ~

The piece is made of a shell case, converted into an ashtray with the lighter body made from a 1943 20mm cannon shell with a 1943 dated cap. The underside is stamped for a 6 pounder shell, broad arrow and dated to 1943. All pieces are chromed.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in good order apart from wear to the chrome. The striker will need freeing up.

The piece is 11 cm (4.25 inches) tall. It weighs 1.02 Kg.
