A pretty bark effect ring of 9ct gold set with one large and five small round-cut garnets and five small round-cut diamonds.

The stones are all mounted in a raised gallery to the front of the ring.

The large garnet is claw set to the centre with the other stones alternately set around its circumference.

The front half of the band has a textured tree bark effect finish while the reverse is plain.

The ring is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1971 with a makers mark of ‘S&Co’.

The large garnet measures 0.25 carats (4mm diameter).

The small garnets measure 0.01 carats (1mm diameter) each.

The diamonds measure 0.01 carats (1mm diameter) each.

The ring is a UK size R which is a US size 8 ¾ (18.65mm inner diameter).

It weighs 3.8g.
