~ 19th Century Mahogany Circular Fusee Wall Clock ~
A fine 19th century mahogany wall clock with a fusee movement.
The clock has a white dial with black Roman numerals and black hands. It is set within a rounded mahogany surround.
The clock has the traditional salt box to the reverse which houses the fusee movement. It is secured in place by four pegs and has two small access doors, one to the side and one underneath.
The clock comes with its pendulum and key.
~ Dimensions ~
The clock has a diameter of 15 inches (38cm) and a depth of 6 inches (15cm).
It weighs 5.3Kg.
~ Condition ~
The mahogany surround has a split to one edge which has been repaired with a metal fixing to the reverse. The glass front has signs of repair to the metal
around the hinge.
The salt box has a split and some signs of damage, it has only two original pegs and one homemade peg.
Overall the clock presents very well with minimal scuffing to the mahogany. The glass is free from damage and the dial is clean.
It was been fully serviced and is in good working order.
