19th Century Powder Flask

Here we have a 19th century powder flask, of very good quality manufacture but rather plain. In the traditional balloon shape without a catch so presumably this would have had a stopper.

This flask is a touch heavier than others of this size giving it a certain sturdiness, a very interesting and functional piece.
