~ 9ct Yellow Gold Amethyst & Diamond Ring UK Size O US 7 ~
A lovely ring of 9ct gold set with a large oval-cut amethyst and twelve small round-cut diamonds.
The amethyst is claw set to the centre of the ring. This is flanked on either side by studded panels of platinum, claw set with the diamonds.
The band is of plain gold with grooved shoulders that twist to frame the stones.
The ring is hallmarked inside the band for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1998. It has makers marks of ‘QVC’ and ‘KN’.
~ Dimensions ~
The amethyst measures 3.5 carats (8mm x 10mm).
The diamonds measure 0.01 carats (1mm diameter) each.
The ring is a UK size O which is a US size 7 (17.35mm inner diameter).
It weighs 4.7g.
~ Condition ~
The ring is in a very nice pre-owned condition with minimal wear. The stones are free from damage and have a nice shine. The central amethyst is slightly loose, it will not come loose from the claw mount but you may be able to feel the stone move slightly if you try and move it.
