~ Antique Victorian Hand Carved Wood & Black Chantilly Lace Mourning Fan ~
Here is a wonderful black funeral fan dating back to the Victorian era.
Its beautifully carved ebonised tines are covered in black fabric which is accented with small sparkly black sequins. The upper part is decorated with a section of delicate French Chantilly lace.

The fan has a length of 9.75 inches (24.75 cm) and a width of 18.25 inches (46.5 cm) (when open). It weighs 46 g.
~ Condition ~
The fabric has numerous tears and separation from the tines as expected for its age. The wooden tines are free from damage. Overall this fan is in decent shape for its age.
