~ Birmingham1896 Silver Topped Glass Pot ~
A nice cut glass pot with silver hinged lid.
The pot is of faceted glass with a star burst pattern to the underside and a stopper in the top.
It has a sterling silver hinged lid with gilt interior, engraved to the top with the initials ‘HHR’.
The pot is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham, 1896 to both parts of the lid, and also marked ‘Sterling’.
~ Dimensions ~
The pot has a diameter of 5cm (2 inches) and a height of 8.5cm (3 ¼ inches).
It weighs 110g.
~ Condition ~
The lid has one small compaction to the edge and some light surface wear in parts, but is essentially in a nice condition.
The glass is in good order with no damages.
