Description

~ British Indian Army 1896 Pattern Mountain Artillery Sword ~

The ricasso is stamped 8 '15 for August 1915 as well as inspection marks and the government broad arrow.

The curved blade has a single fuller to both sides along 75% of its length.

It comes with its original scabbard. The guard is of an unusual form.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition. Both the sword and scabbard are in good order. The brass tip to the scabbard is a little loose. The sword fits the scabbard tightly.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 90 cm (35.5 inches) in total length with a 70 cm (36 inches) blade.
