Here we have a fine piece of WW2 naval history, the treadplate of the Hunt class destroyer that sailed against the Italians in the Second Battle of Sirte.

The treadplate is bronze cast with the name in a central position with a knurled effect on the sides.

The plate is 100 cm by 30 cm.

The plate weighs 19Kg.

~ Condition ~

The plate is in good condition for its age with the expected wear from use.
