A lovely miniature vase from the German porcelain makers Sitzendorf dating to circa 1840.

The vase is of baluster form, in the style of an urn with twin handles and lid.

The lid is fixed in place and instead the vase is pierced with small holes round the upper edge in which to place individual small flowers.

The vase is of white porcelain with gilt highlights and has applied decoration of flowers in pale colours to the front and lid.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece has a height of 8.5cm and measures 6cm across the handles.

It weighs 46g.

~ Condition ~

Some of the applied flowers have some chips/damage and there is a tiny bit of wear to the gilt in parts. Overall the piece is in a very nice condition and has suffered no major damage.
