~ c1905 Admiral Lord Nelson Commemorative Tea Set by Royal Doulton ~
Produced in 1905 this Royal Doulton commemorative stoneware tea set commemorates the centenary of the Death of Nelson.
It comprises of a teapot with lid, a milk jug and a sugar bowl
Each is glazed in the typical Doulton palette of cobalt blue, light blue, sage green and brown with rope handles to both the teapot and jug.
They have relief moulded decoration with roundels showing The Victory, and a portrait of Lord Nelson and the word ‘Born 1758, Died 1805’.
Each has the motto ‘England Expects Every Man Will do his Duty’ to the rims.
Each has impressed factory marks to base.

The teapot has a base diameter of 12.5cm (5 inches) and a height of 14cm (5 ½ inches).
The sugar bowl has a base diameter of 9cm (3 ½ inches) and a height of 6.5cm (2 ½ inches).
The milk jug has a base diameter of 8.5cm (3 ¼ inches) and a height of 7.5cm (3 inches).

The set is in great condition with no wear or damages.
