*Canadian, WW2, Original  The Lorne Scots -Peel Dufferin and Halton- Regt White Metal Cap Badge, Kings Crown, Brooch*

This unusually large badge is comprised of a wreath of thistle and maple leaves, the crest of Viscount Peel, with a central demi lion rampant with three bezants, and holding between the paws a shuttle argent, all resting on a scroll bearing the motto Pro Aris et Fogis. Below is a second scroll inscribed with the designation "THE LORNE SCOTS (PEEL DUFFERIN AND HALTON REGT)". All lugs intact on this excellent white-metal badge.
