~ Cased Set Of Late Victorian Silver Salts c1899 ~
A lovely set of four late Victorian silver open salts dated for 1899.
The salts are of circular form with embossed and chased floral decoration and each sitting on three feet.
The salts are all hallmarked for silver, London, 1899.
Though not named we have reason to believe they maybe by the maker William Hutton & Sons Ltd.
The salts come in their original satin and velvet lined leather case.
~ Dimensions ~
The salts each have a diameter of 6.5cm (2 ½ inches) and a height of 3cm (1 ¼ inches).
Together they weigh 200g.
The cased set weighs 570g.
~ Condition ~
A couple of the salts have a few small tarnish marks to the inside.
One of the salts has a foot which is ever so slightly out of true but otherwise the salts are in a very nice condition with no damages.
The case is a little worn but still in decent order.
