~ Chinese Jade Fairy Tale Pendant ~
This is a beautiful example of a contemporary jade square plaque pendant, carved in deep relief.
It appears to be in the Qing style, it may possibly be of that period but we are uncertain. It is carved with two boys holding plants in their hands. This is based on a famous Chinese fairy tale.
The pendant is a deep dark translucent green.

The plaque has a width of 1.7 inches (3.5 cm), a height of 2 inches (5.1 cm) & a depth of 0.3 inches (0.8 cm).
It weighs 50 g.

The jade is in excellent condition.
