~ Chinese Nephrite Jade Baluster Vase With Cover ~
A handsome and heavy nephrite jade vase with cover.
The vase is of baluster form and is ornately carved and worked with scroll and leaf decoration.
The cover also has leaf decoration and is topped with a flower bud finial.
The body and cover each feature three matching carved handles.
We are unsure of the age – Quing/Ching or later.
~ Dimensions ~
The vase has a diameter of 11.5cm (4 ½ inches) and a height of 28cm (11 inches) including cover.
It weighs 2.61 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The vase and cover both have a few small nicks but nothing significant.
Overall the piece is in a lovely condition with no cracks or repairs.
