~ An English Bow Porcelain Figure Of A Putti Holding Basket of Flowers, c.1770 ~
The standing rosey cheeked cherub is wearing a floral chaplet and garland whilst holding a beautifully crafted basket of finely crafted flowers.
The circular base has further applied examples of flowers.
~ Dimensions ~
The figurine is 4.9 inches (12.5cm) tall. The base has a diameter of 2 inches (5.1 cm). It weighs 190 g.
~ Condition ~
The figurine would have originally had a posey in its left hand, this is missing. There are several nips to the petals and leaves though those on the base are complete. See photos for evidence of damage.
