~ Circa 1780 Flintlock Pistol by Archer ~

This is an exceptional piece with a decorated brass barrel, stamped with a pair of inspector’s proof marks.

All its fittings are made of foliage decorated brass except the lockplate which is made of steel and named Archer.

~ Condition ~

The piece half cocks, cocks and releases.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel is 8 inches long and the overall length of the piece is 14 1/2 inches (37 cm).
