Description

The sword has a faintly etched, singled edged blade which bows upwards along the top edge forming a slight curve. It has a brass 5 ball hilt with pillow pommel and white ivory grip. The grip is finished with a brass plaque etched with the fouled anchor. The side arm is complete with its black leather scabbard with brass fitting.

~ Condition ~

The blade is clean with extensive wear to the engraved decorations. There is one large and one smaller nick to the edge.

The hilt is in an overall fair state with a split to the bone grip and the guard is partially loose.

The scabbard is missing a section to the tip and much of the finish is missing to the leather.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword in its scabbard measures 32 inches (81cm). The blade itself measures 26 inches (66cm). This piece weighs 975g.
