A nice example of a neoclassical french briquet sword and its scabbard.

The brass grip and guard are stamped with inspector's marks and unit marks. So is the locket of the scabbard.

The spine of the sword bears the Kingenthal manufacturing etching.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in excellent condition for its age. The blade is clean with minimal age wear.

The scabbard has some age wear but its overall condition is good.
