An elegant coffee pot from William Moorcroft’s early days working for MacIntyre.

The pot has tube lined cobalt blue cornflower flowers and leaves with white scrolls, handles rim and spout.

The lid is similarly decorated.

The underside of the pot has the MacIntyre back-stamp and a registered design number of 311908 which dates the piece to 1898.

~ Condition ~

The pot has heavy crazing to the glaze on the inside base from hot water usage. It is free from chips, cracks and restoration. Please note the piece dates to 1898, not 1885.

~ Dimensions ~

The pot is 19 cm (7.5 inches) tall and measures 18.5 cm (7.25 inches) tall from tip to handle.
