The circular copper bed warming pan would be filled with hot water. The lid has faint signs of floral decoration. The pan is attached to a turned wood handle with a small ring as a pommel, used for hanging.
~ Dimensions ~
The piece has a height of 39.5 inches (100.3 cm). The pan has a diameter of 11 inches (27.9 cm). It weighs 2.05 kg.
~ Condition ~
The patterns on the pot lid are fairly worn though remain visible. The copper has typical age wear/oxidisation but remains in good order. The wooden handle appears to have no chipping or damage.
