~ Circa 1920 Cut Glass Biscuit Barrel With Naval Relief Knot Silver Plated Lid ~

The glass body is hand cut with long facets. It has silver plated fittings including the handle. A particularly nice feature is the lid which has simulated deck planking and a sign reading biscuits sitting next to a pile of coiled of rope.

~ Condition ~

The silver plating could use a gentle polish, it has minor loss. The glass is in good order with some wear such as scratches but no chips or cracks.

~ Dimensions ~

The main body is 15 cm (6 inches) tall with a base diameter of 13.5 cm (5.25 inches).

It weighs 0.975 Kg.
