~ Circa 1950 Moorcroft Leaf And Berries Pattern Octagonal Bowl ~

The delightfully shaped, tube lined bowl has graduated berries in blue and vine leaves over a pale green ground with a sea blue rim.

The underside bears Walter Moorcroft's initials in slate blue, a 'Moorcroft' stamp and a 'Made In England' stamp. This dates the piece to between 1947 and 1953.

~ Condition ~

The bowl is in excellent condition, free from chips and cracks. Due to its age there is general, typical crazing to the glaze.

The bowl is 25 cm (10 inches) in diameter (across the flats) and 6 cm (2.25 inches) tall.
