~ Copy Of A Persian Kulah Khud Helmet With Stand ~
The steel helmet has a single piece skull with a spike on top of a star boss.
To the fore is a nasal guard and twin plume holders.
Hanging from the neck is a chain mail neck guard and fringe.
It is fixed to its steel stand.
It is of some age but is not an original 19th century example.
~ Condition ~
The helmet and stand are in good order, with very minimal surface corrosion.
~ Dimensions ~
The skull is 16 cm (6.5 inches) tall including the spike with a diameter of 22 cm (8.5 inches). The chain-mail neck guard is 30 cm (12 inches) in length. On it's stand it is 53 cm (21 inches) tall. The set weighs 1.35 Kg.
