*Early 19th Century Albanian Miquelet Rat Tailed Flintlock Pistol, Obsolete Calibre*

Scarce Albanian brass rat tail blunderbuss barrel holster pistol with miquelet lock. Decorated in brass and engraved with scrolling designs. Round steel barrel, steel lock, the jaws engraved with a fleur de lys, the brass covered stock engraved with scrolling tendrils, set with lead studded bosses and with squared off bulbous pommel.

The Albanian Rat Tail Pistol played a significant role in Albanian history, being used by various factions and individuals during times of conflict and unrest.

*Condition*
Excellent used condition. Cocks and dry-fires. Missing its ramrod. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
