~ Early 20th Century Bronze Figure Of A Horse On A Marble Base ~
The horse is nicely sculpted and the base is a good solid piece of dark marble, black in colour with some lovely white veining.
The underside of the base is felt covered, this is quite worn.
The statue has an indistinct signature the right side of the base.
We would date it to around 1920.
~ Dimensions ~
The piece measures 7 ½ inches (19cm) high, 4 ¾ inches (12cm) wide and 2 ¾ inches (7cm) deep. It weighs 1.99Kg.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in great condition. The marble has some very minor chips.
