The bicorn has the standard Kings Crown buttons and gold bullion wire fittings.

The size is marked as 6 7/8 on the inside.

The silk interior of the bicorn is S. R. Gould & Sons R. N. Outfitters, Devonport.

The black japanned tin case is named to W. Westlake, R.N. (Royal Navy).
