~ Fine Quality WW1 Trench Art Lamp Stand ~

This is a stunning piece of WW1 brass trench art, based on a 75 mm shell case, converted into a lamp stand.

To one side is a thistle with the 1918 date beneath. The main body has circular punch work with a fluted base. It rests on a base with three lions feet.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in excellent order. It is not wired.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece is 52 cm (20.5 inches) tall, the main body of the shell case is 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter, the base including the feet is 17 cm (7 inches). It weighs 2.82 Kg.
