~ GAMA Clockwork Tin Plate Medium Tank M98 #2 ~
A great clockwork tinplate model of a tank from the German toy company GAMA.
The tank has a green body with printed detail and cream plastic tyres.
It is printed with ‘Medium Tank M98’ to either side.
There is an on/off switch which also raises and lowers a gun with flint underneath that works with the clockwork mechanism to produce sparks, mimicking gun fire
The main gun has a mechanism to fire caps or similar
The tank is marked ‘Made in Western Germany’ to the underside.
~ Dimensions ~
The tank measures 6 ¼ inches (16cm) by 3 ¾ inches (9.5cm) with a height of 3 ¾ inches (9.5cm).
It weighs 330g.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in a good condition but is missing its rubber tracks and antenna. There is the odd small bit of wear and some rust in places.
It winds up but due to lack of tracks it does not motor along.
The item does not come with the winding key.
