~ Gents 18ct White Gold Chopard Automatic Wrist Watch In Box c1970’s ~
A fine 18ct white gold gents automatic ultra-slim wrist watch by the Swiss watchmakers Chopard dating to the late 1970’s.
The watch case, bezel and bracelet are of 18ct white gold.
The watch has a rounded rectangular silver dial with baton hour markers and a Kuwait crest at the 6 o’clock position. The dial reads ‘Chopard, Geneve. Swiss Made’.
The case is of plain white gold. It is engraved to the reverse with a serial number of ‘114323-2080’.
The watch is on an 18ct white gold integral smooth Milanese bracelet with branded flip clasp.
The watch is fully marked for 18ct gold.
The watch comes in its original presentation box with outer card box.
Included with the watch are two valuation certificated dated 1980 and 1997 the latter giving the watch a valuation for insurance purposes of £6,500.
The watch has a card included showing that it was fully serviced by Chopard with a guarantee in 2010. A sticker corresponding with the guarantee serial number is still attached to the back of the watch, suggesting it may have not been worn since.

The watch has a length of 20cm (8 inches approx).
It weighs 86.2g.
In box it weighs 910g.
~ Condition ~
The watch is in a great condition with no damage. There is some light scratching to the strap and light wear to the bezel as to be expected but the watch still presents very well.
The watch is in good working order.
The box is in a very nice condition with no damage or wear. There are some ink marks inside the box where the guarantee card has been stored before the ink had dried, but this is hidden under the cushion.
