A hard cover edition of the 1915 book ‘Hero Tales and Legends of the Rhine’ by Lewis Spence.

The book is a retelling of legends and sagas of the Rhine, particularly the lore of the portion which passes through western Germany, organized geographically from north to south.

This book is a beautifully bound hard back in brown cloth covers with the titles stamped in gold & with a dragon seal.

It contains a number of coloured plates.

The first two pages have come loose. There is minor wear to the covers and the pages are slightly brown but the book remains in otherwise good condition.
