The badge, in the shape of a ships wheel, has a pin to the reverse. The centre features the ships badge and name.

HMS Fisgard was a shore establishment of the Royal Navy active at different periods and locations between 1848 and 1983. She was used to train artificers and engineers for the Navy.

The badge is in good order. The clasp works well. The enamel is complete. There is some tarnishing to the gilt.
