    ~ Huntley And Palmer Indian Elephants Casket Biscuit Tin ~

    This tin was issued in 1927 and was designed to imitate an Indian sandalwood casket. It has depictions of Elephants and branches to the four sides and top.

    The inside is stamped Huntley & Palmer, Biscuits, Read & London, England.

    ~ Condition ~

    The painted finish has mostly worn away. The top of the lid is slightly pushed in due to prior use. The hinges and catch work well.

    ~ Dimensions ~

    The tin is 24 cm (9.5 inches) wide by  17 cm (6.75 inches) deep by 8 cm (3.25 inches).
