~ Indian Generals Cap ~

The cap is of cloth construction with a green leather line under the visor. On top of the peak are two bands of heavy silver bullion. The main badge is of gold bullion with the letters ‘IP’surrounded by a silver laurel wreath with the star and cresent above.

The cap bears a label inside and was made by “Forces Variety Centre” of Rawalpini.

The cap is in excellent order.

The cap measures 27 cm (10.5 inches) fore to aft (peak to rear) and 24 cm (9.5 inches) across the top.
