Italian Etched Late 16th Century Shield

~ Italian Etched Late 16th Century Shield ~

The finely etched shield has a ribbed edge and the 6 panels depicts various military and other items. There is scroll work to the outer rim which is also studded. There is a central spike and 4 brass rosettes too. There are 2 latter leather straps to the reverse.
