~ Ladies Swiss 87.5% JG Silver Pocket Watch Wind Up ~
The face features the main dial with Roman numeral digits and a decorative display of gold patterning. The cover of the watch has a floral design.
The pocket watch is Swiss made; it is hallmarked with the bear on the inner cover. Between 1880 and 1933 Swiss silver used the bear to indicate 87.5% silver. Unlike British silver Swiss silver cannot be dated to the precise year. However the hallmarks indicate that this piece was made between 1880 and 1933.
Inside the cover the silver is marked “116468, JG, 0.935”.
There is a button on the top of the pocket watch which is used to open the back cover and access the two dials; a key is needed for the dials. The minute and hour hand can be adjusted using the central dial. The watch can be wound up using the other dial. The key is not provided.

The watch has a height of 2 inches (5.1cm). The bezel has a diameter of 1.5 inches (3.8cm). It weighs 34.2g.
~ Condition ~
The glass is chip free with minor scratches. The case is in fantastic condition with minor scratches. The face is very clean. It is in good working order; the dials work smoothly and the watch keeps good time.
