~ Large 1924-34 Meissen Magpie Bird Model 68b ~
The first ‘Model 62B’ was modelled by J.C. Kaendler in 1733. This is the 1924-34 version of 62B.
The lower edge of the model is stamped with the Meissen blue stamp and the underside is stamped ’52' for the artist number, '62b' and trade mark, as seen in the images.
~ Dimensions ~
The model is 16.6 inches (42.5 cm) tall and 8.55 inches (22 cm) wide.
It weighs 1.61 kg.
~ Condition ~
The magpie has had professional restoration work on the beak tips organised by ourselves.
Aside from that the condition is excellent.
The stamps are clearly visible.
