A delightful William Moorcroft pottery shallow bowl, hand painted in the Freesia pattern on to a deep blue and cream ground. The underside bears the W. Moorcroft signature and "POTTER TO H.M. THE QUEEN" which dates the piece from 1928 to 1936, this refers to Her Majesty Queen Mary, wife of King George V.

~ Condition ~

The bowl is free from chips and cracks. There is minor wear to the glaze from use principally to the centre.

The bowl is 24.5 cm (9.75 inches) in diameter with a height of 6 cm (2.25 inches). It weighs 735g.
