~ Moorcroft Hibiscus Pattern Pedestal Bowl (Tazza) ~
The bowl has tube lined hibiscus flower over a cobalt blue ground.
It is stamped Moorcroft to the underside and bears Walter Moorcroft's initials dating the piece to between 1950 and 1986. Given that it has a blue ground rather than the green one used more commonly later, we believe this is a piece from the earlier end of that date range.
~ Condition ~
There is a scratch to the underside of the bowl, near the stem, otherwise in excellent order.
~ Dimensions ~
The tazza is 9 cm (3.5 inches) tall and 18 cm (7 inches) in diameter.
