The plate depicts Little Sweet Betsy flowers (botanical name: Trillium cuneatum) with a pond in the background, with deep cobalt blue borders.

The plate is back stamped for Moorcroft, Made In Stoke On Trent, England with the leaf symbol for 2001 as well as the potters initials of ‘MJT.
